Tools for getting your attention back

( 01 ) Write One address, read by the person who made the app.

Something not working? Say what happened.

Write to team@tavlahq.com. The useful things to include: which iPhone, which version of iOS, and what you did just before it went wrong. A screenshot helps when there is one.

There is no account, so there is nothing to look up on Tavla's side. Everything the app knows is on your phone, and that is what makes the description matter.

( 02 ) Before you write Three things worth knowing.

Known · and by design

  1. 01

Blocking runs on Apple's Screen Time.

If a session will not start, the app's own settings show whether Screen Time access is on. Apple built it so the app never learns which apps you use; it only knows that a session is running, and when it ends.

  2. 02

    Everything stays on the phone.

Your block, sessions, hours, rewards and anything you write. Take a copy with Settings → Export the journal. Deleting the app deletes all of it, and there is nothing to ask for, because none of it left.

  3. 03

The usage counts can be switched off.

The app counts which features are found, anonymously, with no account and no user ID. Settings → Analytics turns it off, and nothing is sent from then on. The privacy page has the whole of it.
